The political and economic voice

Established in 1997, the Canmore Hotel & Lodging Association's mandate is to help the tourism industry work toward common political and economic interests and goals. Today we have more than 30 regular members, which represent more than 65% of the Canmore and area hotel and lodging properties. We make up one of the largest groups of taxpayers and employers in Canmore and we are a strong association with a powerful voice. We believe the endeavors we undertake benefit the Canmore and area communities as a whole.

A forum for owners and managers

The CH&LA has a regular meeting on the second Tuesday of every month, providing a forum for owners and managers to discuss issues that affect tourism and the lodging industry in Canmore. Traditionally one of the member properties hosts the lunch once a year.

An opportunity to promote your services

At the Canmore Hotel & Lodging Association, we welcome businesses that work with our facilities and share our concerns for the business community. With your membership you will be included in our website as a preferred vendor with a brief description of your business and services and a link to your own website. As an Associate Member, you will have the opportunity to showcase yourself and your products to our membership at one of our monthly meetings.

Membership fee:

Regular members

Eligible regular members are hotel and lodging properties in Canmore, Harvie Heights and Dead Man's Flats. Regular membership fees are:

• 1 - 99 rooms $150
• 100 rooms and up $250

Associate members

We welcome any business, companies and service providers that work with Canmore and area hotel and lodging properties our facilities and share our concerns for the business community. The associate membership fee is:

• associate member $150
